Brief

BeVisible (bevisible.soy) is a career network for Latinx seeking jobs in tech, finance or marketing & advertising. The platform connects job recruiters with job seekers/applicants for one of the largest growing demographics in the United States. BeVisible was founded in 2015 by Andrea Gundleman and Silvia Travesani of Boulder, Colorado. Since then, BeVisible received venture funding and has grown into a network of thousands of Latinx.

My role on this project was Lead Product Designer (end-to-end). I collaborated with end users, engineers, product managers, executives, and other key stakeholders to ensure innovative, attractive, and functional user experiences were delivered -enabling users to accomplish their goals quickly.

I worked on developing personas, journey maps, information architecture models, user task flows, wireframes, and visual UI specifications as needed. Then, ensured that a consistent design language was applied throughout the system, that matched the brand and the ideal experience of the end users.

Problem & Approach

As a Job Seeker, I need a way to showcase my job skills and experience online and search for new job opportunities. In addition, I am seeking other likeminded individuals to network with in my career field, geo-location and/or Alumni network.

As a Job Recruiter, I need a way to quickly and easily filter and view job candidates that fit the criteria for the positions that I am trying to fill.

As a Business, I need a way to connect Latinx Job Seekers and Job Recruiters together for mutual benefit (employment). Further, I need to provide enough value for both user types to develop a profitable revenue stream.
